Product Introduction
40.5kV post insulator is a key component in GW4-40.5 outdoor AC high-voltage disconnector. It plays a supporting and insulating role to ensure the safe and reliable operation of the disconnector in the 40.5kV power system. It utilizes the high resistance characteristics of the insulating material to isolate the live conductor from the grounded metal structure or the earth through the insulating parts of the insulator, preventing the current from leaking along the surface or inside of the insulator, so that the current can only flow in the specified conductor path, thus achieving electrical insulation and mechanical support.
