RN8 Gas insulation Ring-Network Switchgear Cabinet uses SF6 gas as insulation and arc extinguishing medium. SF6 gas has strong electronegativity and high dielectric strength. Its insulation strength is 2-3 times that of air. It is non-toxic, odorless, non-flammable, non-explosive, and has excellent arc extinguishing and insulation properties, so that the load switch circuit breaker can quickly extinguish the arc after breaking the current. Its internal design is compact and small in size, saving space and resources. The gas box is welded with stainless steel and has a fully sealed structure. The operating mechanism adopts spring type, with simple structure, flexible operation, and the operating speed is not affected by the size of manpower. The mechanism has a complete mechanical lock and reliable interlocking. It adopts modular design and can be flexibly combined into various power distribution schemes to meet the various needs of different occasions and different users.

At the same time, in order to meet the needs of power grid development and reduce the initial investment cost of users, our company has developed an expandable RN8 ring main unit with reserved expansion interfaces for users to choose and use.

1. Functional structure

2.Sealing gas insulation system

In RN8 Gas insulation Ring-Network Switchgear Cabinet,the sealed stainless steel box is filled with SF6 gas at the rated pressure which

is used as the insulating and arc-extingguishing medium .

SF6 gas has the strong electronegativity ,high dielectric strength with the insulaltion strength twice or three times as much as that of air.It also has the excellent arc-extingguishing and insulating performance so as to be guarantee that the switchgear can extinguish the arc rapidly after breaking the current .

the stainless steel gas tank is equipped with the good earthing device to guarantee the safety of the operators .

the advanced sutomatic welding equipment is used to guarantee the sealing performance upon the operation of the gas tank .

Before delivey ,the strict inspectin shall be carried out for tghe tightness of the air chamber to guarantee the relible preformance and the service life more than 30 years.

All the elements and components in the gas tank are maintance-free within the service life at least 30 years .

3.Advanced arc-extinguishing technology

Circuit breaker:

The arc-extinguishing technology of arc rolation plus SF6 gas self -diffusion is used to cut off any current blow the short-circuit current .

the load switch is designed to fulfill 5000 times of mechancical "on/off"operations ,and circuit breaker is designed to fulfill 2000 times of mechanical "on/off"operations.

Advanced technology

1. The main parts and springs of the mechanism are made of imported materials to ensure reliable operation. The operating life of the load switch and circuit breaker can reach 5000 times.

2. The injection molding parts and seals are advanced in processing technology and have been strictly tested. The service life is ≥30 years.

3. The ABB automatic welding robot and the Baonitrogen leak detection system and other advanced equipment are used to ensure that the annual relative leakage rate of SF6 gas is ≤0.1%.

4. The vacuum dehumidification technology is used to control the micro-water content of SF6 gas to ≤150ppm.5. The three-position straight-tube air-blowing load switch can easily break the 2200 transfer current in the application of combined electrical units.

5. The filling pressure is low, only 0.02mpa. And under the rated working condition of zero gauge pressure, the switch cabinet can operate normally and can achieve 10 times of rated current opening and closing.

6. The circuit breaker adopts a three-position air blowing arc extinguishing and a magnetic rotation arc extinguishing chamber, and the breaking and isolation functions are operated synchronously.

7. Humanized and visual grounding system, the open and close status of the grounding switch can be clearly observed through the transparent observation window.
