Case in Focus: 3AE Siemens Circuit Breaker Retrofit
In one representative case, we performed a comprehensive retrofit on a batch of Siemens 3AH series vacuum circuit breakers for our customer.
We not only replaced the vacuum interrupters with new, high-performance units and conducted a thorough maintenance and enhancement of the original operating mechanism but, most crucially, integrated our independently developed ADT-600 Series Intelligent Controller.
Post-retrofit, these breakers not only regained their original switching performance but also acquired new capabilities for real-time electrical parameter monitoring, fault pre-warning, lifespan assessment, and RS485 communication, assisting the client in transitioning from "reactive repair" to a new era of "predictive and preventive" intelligent maintenance.

Spring operating mechanism of the VTZ Series is a new generation operating mechanism for vacuum circuit breakers developed by XDTZ.
It was designed after extensive and in-depth market research, integrating advanced domestic technology and experience. and it is the key part in a vacuum circuit breaker, especially for vcb retrofittings.
XDTZ accept customized your operating mechanism, not only Spring operating mechanism but also Permanent magnet mechanism.
Our Goal

XDTZ is consistently committed to providing global power users with full life-cycle service solutions. Our multi-brand retrofitting capability is a testament to this commitment. We believe that through professional technical empowerment, every piece of electrical equipment can continue to create value.
Going Beyond Simple Replacement: Delivering Customized Upgrade Solutions
Different from a straightforward "old-for-new" swap, the professional retrofitting service offered by XDTZ represents a precise, customized, and in-depth value regeneration. Our technical team conducts a comprehensive "health check" and evaluation of each individual circuit breaker, formulating a "one-product, one-strategy" upgrade plan based on its original brand architecture. The core of the retrofit extends beyond replacing aged key components like the vacuum interrupters; it encompasses the precise calibration and optimization of operating mechanisms, a comprehensive upgrade of intelligent protection and control units, and the restoration and enhancement of overall mechanical and electrical characteristics.
"Our goal is to enable these classic devices to perform at or even beyond their original specifications while integrating more intelligently and reliably into modern power systems," said [Name], Technical Director at [Your Company Name]. "Especially for many discontinued models, our retrofitting service is the most cost-effective pathway to extend their service life and ensure production continuity."
Solving the Maintenance Dilemma of Aging Equipment, Delivering Multiple Client Benefits
This series of retrofit projects directly addresses the common pain points faced by users of legacy international brand equipment:
Breaking the Spare Parts Bottleneck: For original manufacturer parts that are discontinued or have extremely long lead times, we provide high-quality, fully compatible alternative components, completely eliminating supply chain dependency.
Leaping Forward in Performance Standards: Upgrades from original mechanical or basic electronic protection to the latest digital intelligent protection units, enabling precise protection, condition monitoring, and remote communication to meet smart maintenance needs.
Optimizing Total Cost of Ownership: Compared to purchasing new switchgear or premium OEM services, the retrofit solution can typically save clients 30%-50% in costs while maximizing the use of existing assets and minimizing downtime.
Ensuring Safety and Compliance: Through thorough overhaul and testing, we guarantee the retrofitted equipment fully complies with current electrical safety operation standards, eliminating potential hazards.
