The bellows and the guide sleeve are welded on the lower flange, When the switch is closed or opened, the dynamic conductive rod moves up and down, and the bellows is compressed or stretched, so that the vacuum degree of the vacuum interrupter is maintained.

In a vacuum, since the average free path of gas molecules is large, it is not easy for gas to be free, and the insulation strength of the vacuum is much higher than that of the atmosphere. Under the action of this magnetic field force, the arc moves rapidly along the tangent direction of the contact surface, and part of the metal vapor condenses on the metal cylinder (i.e., the shielding cover).

Vacuum circuit breaker: The structure is more complex, including operating mechanisms (such as springs or permanent magnet mechanisms), arc extinguishing chambers, insulating shells, etc., and it is necessary to take into account both mechanical operation and vacuum environment maintenance.
