Explanation of Vacuum Circuit Breaker Application

The mechanical performance checking 

The mechanical performance of circuit breakers is tested, such as checking the synchronicity of contact operation.
 
The synchronicity of contact operation determines the synchronization of opening and closing; asynchrony leads to differences in arc time, accelerating contact wear and reducing service life.
 

The opening and closing speed of the contacts also needs to be measured. Abnormal speed indicates that some internal mechanical components of the circuit breaker have aged and need to be replaced promptly.

 

 

 

 

Circuit Breaker Electrical Life Assessment

Arc Time Analysis: Arc time is monitored in real time using photoelectric sensors, and the remaining life is calculated based on the current waveform.
Erosion Model: Linear regression is used to establish the relationship between contact erosion and arc energy to predict lifespan decay.

 

 

Operation Data Monitoring 

Circuit Breaker Breaking Count Statistics: The number of short-circuit breaking times of the circuit breaker is recorded. Electrical lifespan is typically a fraction of the mechanical lifespan.
