This growth is driven by a combination of multiple factors.

On the one hand, Southeast Asian countries are in a phase of accelerated industrialisation and urbanisation, creating strong demand for grid expansion and upgrades, while the infrastructure investment gap remains large, giving them a natural preference for cost‑effective power equipment. Chinese vacuum circuit breakers are close to international first‑tier brands in performance, yet typically priced 15% to 30% lower, with shorter delivery cycles that can flexibly adapt to local project schedules.

In several large‑scale photovoltaic power stations and urban rail transit projects in Malaysia, Thailand and other countries, domestically produced vacuum circuit breakers have successfully replaced traditional European and American brands, marking a transition from "going global" to "going deep."
