Products Description
The JCZ1 series AC high-voltage vacuum contactors (hereinafter referred to as "contactors") are designed for use in AC power networks operating at 50–60 Hz, with a main circuit rated operating voltage of 7.2 kV or 12 kV and a rated current of 630 A or less. They are used for remote switching, disconnection, and frequent starting and control of AC motors, and are particularly suitable for use in combination with fuses and various protective devices as a replacement for vacuum circuit breakers.

C. Environmental Conditions
1. Ambient air temperature shall not exceed +40°C or fall below -10°C.
2. The installation site shall be at an altitude not exceeding 2,000 meters.
3. Relative humidity: The average maximum relative humidity during the wettest month shall be 90%, with a monthly average minimum temperature of 25°C, taking into account condensation on the product surface caused by temperature fluctuations.
4. The environment shall be free from significant shaking and impact vibrations.
5. In locations where there is no risk of explosion, and where there are no gases or dust (including conductive dust) that could cause corrosion or compromise insulation.

JCZ1 series AC high-voltage vacuum contactors is Mainly used in 3.6kV/7.2kV/12kV indoor three-phase AC systems, compatible with 50/60Hz, 160–630A, primarily for frequent switching of high-voltage loads

JCZ1 series AC high-voltage vacuum contactors has many applications:
1. Motor Control: Frequent starting, stopping, and reversing of high-voltage asynchronous/synchronous motors (e.g., in mining, metallurgy, chemical, and machinery industries)
2. Transformer Switching: Frequent switching of distribution transformers and rectifier transformers (AC-6a)
3. Capacitor Bank Switching: Frequent switching of reactive power compensation capacitor banks (AC-6b, optimized for JCZ1C type)
4. FC Circuit (Contactor-Fuse Combination): Used in medium-voltage switchgear for integrated protection and control
5. Grounding/Arc Suppression Devices: Frequent switching of generator neutral point grounding resistor cabinets and arc suppression coil circuits
6. Other Loads: Frequent operation applications such as electric furnaces, rectifier equipment, high-voltage frequency converters, and rail transit traction power supply

5. Long mechanical life: The simple and reliable mechanism boasts a mechanical life of up to millions of cycles, stable operation, and a low failure rate.
6. No fire or explosion risk, environmentally friendly and safe: It produces no oil, no gas, and no flammable media, preventing oil spraying, gas leakage, and explosions; it does not produce toxic gases, making it suitable for indoor, underground, and chemical environments with high safety requirements
Products Structure Overview
1. This series of contactors consists of an insulated frame, metal base, transmission crank arm, electromagnetic system, auxiliary switch, and vacuum switch tube (see Figure 1). When the electromagnetic coil is energized with a control voltage, the armature drives the crank arm, closing the main contacts inside the vacuum switch tube. When the electromagnetic coil is de-energized, the main contacts open due to the action of the opening spring.
2. The vacuum switch tube consists of an upper cover, a lower cover, a metal bellows, and a ceramic tube. The outer shell of the vacuum switch tube is made of 95% ceramic insulating material in a corrugated ceramic tube, which features a large creepage distance, high mechanical strength, heat resistance, and impact resistance. A pair of moving and stationary contacts are encapsulated inside the vacuum switch tube. The contact material is a wear-resistant Cu-W-Wc with a low current-cutting value. This reduces overvoltage caused by current cutting during the breaking process while meeting breaking performance requirements, thus improving the service life of the vacuum switch tube. When the metal bellows moves axially, it drives the moving contact to perform the opening and closing action.
3. The electromagnetic system, considering the good matching of actual attraction and reaction characteristics, and leveraging the advantages of low noise and energy saving during contactor operation, adopts a DC dual-coil system consisting of starting and holding windings, switched via an auxiliary switch. For ease of AC power operation, the contactor is equipped with a bridge rectifier.
4. Mechanical locking: When the closing coil is energized, the contactor closes, and the mechanical lock engages; when the trip coil is energized, the mechanical lock disengages, and the contactor releases. When the trip coil is hot, its voltage remains within the range of 85%-110% of Us, ensuring reliable contactor release.
5. Main circuit number of poles: One, three, or multiple poles.
6. Control power supply voltage: AC 110V, 220V. Other voltages can be customized according to user needs.
7. DC electromagnetic system: AC control power is supplied to the coils through a bridge rectifier.
8. Auxiliary circuit contacts should be four normally open and three normally closed.
9. The rated heating current of the auxiliary switch contact circuit is 5A.
10. Rated duty cycle: Intermittent long-term duty cycle, repetitive short-time duty cycle (rated duty cycle 40%).
