Vacuum Interrupter

Vacuum interrupter is main part of VCBs. It holds the contacts inside a vacuum. The vacuum makes it easier to stop the arc when the contacts open. This helps the circuit breaker last longer.

Operating Mechanism

The operating mechanism opens and closes the contacts in the vacuum interrupter. It is usually a spring-loaded mechanism. It can be controlled manually or automatically.

Contacts
