Vacuum circuit breaker and its application
A Vacuum Circuit Breaker (VCB) is a switchgear that uses vacuum as an insulating and arc-extinguishing medium. Vacuum circuit breakers are widely used in power systems to control and protect power grids, especially in medium voltage, high voltage and ultra-high voltage fields.
Vacuum circuit breaker features:
(1) After extinguishing, the contact gap medium has fast recovery speed, good fault performance in the near breaking area, and is suitable for breaking capacitance load current.
(2) Due to the small amount of dredging wear during the breaking current, the electrical life of the contact is long, the full capacity breaking is 30-50 times, the rated current breaking is more than 5000 times, and the noise is small and suitable for frequent operation.
Vacuum circuit breakers are widely used in all aspects of power system, including power stations, substations, distribution networks, etc. At present, the main models of our company are :ZN63A(VS1), ZN85-40.5, VTZ-12, ZW7-40.5 and so on. They can be used as load switches, line switches, generator switches, etc., to control and protect the power grid.
The new generation ZN85-40.5 Vacuum circuit breaker is an upgrade product based on the 35kV vacuum circuit breaker with the 3AV3 mechanism as the main body. It has been fully optimized and upgraded in terms of mechanical transmission, mechanism body, secondary circuit, and other aspects. This product is designed for indoor switchgear with a rated voltage of 40.5kV and AC 50Hz.
