1. Make sure you seclect the right VCB products (selection reference of a VCB)

2. Install the VCB professional
* Strictly read and follow the VCB manufacturer instructions.
* Make sure proper clearance and creepage distances.
* The vacuum circuit breaker should be installed in places without fire, explosion, serious filth, chemical and violent vibration.
3. Standard Operation and Maintenance
Over 80% of vacuum circuit breaker failures cause from the operating mechanism, not cause by the vacuum interrupter itself.
So maintence of the operating machanism is very important, as following is what you can do :
* Maintaining proper operating energy:
* Regular lubrication
* Checking fasteners regularly
* Cleaning the mechanism regularly
4. Inspection of the Vacuum Interrupter: the vacuum level is the key of the vacuum interrupter.
*Perform regular power frequency withstand voltage tests (apply the rated power frequency withstand voltage across the break for 1 minute; passing without flashover or breakdown).
*Use a magnetron discharge vacuum tester for precise measurements.
*Monitor allowable wear thickness of contact regularly
5. Inspection of Vacuum Circuit Breaker
*Regularly test the main circuit resistance, make sure the resistance value is stable, if the resistance exceeds 150% of the factory value, prompt action is required.
*Infrared Temperature Measurement: Regularly scan the incoming and outgoing terminals and busbar connections with a thermal imager to detect potential overheating hazards.
