Recently, Shaanxi West Power Tongzhong Electrical Co., Ltd.. announced the successful development of its independently developed generator outlet vacuum circuit breaker. This product, when installed independently and naturally cooled, has a rated current of 5000A and a rated breaking current DC component of ≥75%. Its core performance fully matches and even surpasses that of Siemens' flagship 3AH3 series model, officially declaring my country's achievement of independent substitution in the field of core protection switches for generators.

 

For a long time, the market for power plant outlet circuit breakers, as core equipment ensuring the safe grid connection of generator sets, has been dominated by imported brands, represented by the Siemens 3AH3 series. Especially for small and medium-sized generator sets of 10MW to 80MW, due to the extremely slow decay of the short-circuit current DC component and the large rated current, ordinary distribution circuit breakers simply cannot meet the stringent IEEE C37.013 standard.

 

The VTZ-15/T5000-63 indoor high-voltage generator circuit breaker specifically targets this critical technological bottleneck, achieving performance leadership in three key dimensions: Stronger Heat Dissipation, Self-Cooling for 5000A Current Flow: Unlike similar Siemens models that only reach 3150A under natural cooling, this model, through optimized low-resistance main circuit design and heat dissipation structure, achieves a rated current of 5000A under independent installation and complete natural air cooling.
